I've encountered like most people all three situations loss, grief, and dying. These experiences have impacted my perspective on life and care, more especially now that I am a student nurse.

As a nurse I must have certain insights that will allow me to help my clients deal with these three themes in their lives.

Understanding that loss will happen no matter what helps us better support patients and families. We must also acknowledge that once we lose something/someone of value to us we will grieve that loss but in grief we must remember  we all experiences it (grief) differently depending on the circumstances/relationships related to that loss.

Dying is a process and it is our duty to help our clients deal with death comfortably and with dignity - we(as nurses) must be compassionate and remember that our clients are people with feelings and beliefs and that they need our support to deal with death.

with understanding and practicing above we are able to put emphasis on practicing with empathy, compassion, and holistic care. towards our clients.
