From my knowledge and understanding I believe there are various norms that strive to enhance nursing as a profession but I'll only discuss 5 of them. Collaboration: Encourages teamwork and coordination among nurses and other healthcare workers. Enhanced collaboration and communication can lead to better patient care. Respect: Nurture a culture of respect, empathy and kindness among colleagues. Accountability: Promote and encourage accountability and ownership of patient care and outcomes. Fostering open communication among team members  can create trust and reassurance for nurses. Innovation: Embracing improvement and new ideas as well as evidence-based learning. Encouraging continuous learning and innovation can promote professional growth. Promote ongoing education, training and professional development. A positive and supportive environment can improve and create job satisfaction. Patient-centred care: Prioritise patient-centred care and patient advocacy. By adopting  and embracing these norms, nursing professionals can work together to enhance the quality of care, deliver high-quality care and advance the nursing profession as well as promote better patient outcomes, job satisfaction and professional growth.
