It is important as nurses to be aware of cultural differences not only with our patients but with our colleagues. This will allow for effective teamwork where colleagues may teach each other different cultural traits/habits. This will allow the nurse to be more aware of the patients cultural needs. It will allow for the nurse to be attentive , considerate and sensitive towards patients
