I once experienced a deep sense of loss when my grandmother’s cousin, who lived with us and became like family, passed away. Her death came as a shock—I couldn’t believe it when I heard she was gone. The pain was not only mine; my grandmother was so devastated that it seemed like she was losing her mind. This experience taught me that loss isn’t just about the person who passed, but also the deep emotional impact it leaves on those who loved them. Grief can be overwhelming, especially when the person was part of our daily lives. It reminded me how fragile life is and how each death affects people differently. Dying brings emotional, mental, and even physical pain to those left behind, and while the shock fades over time, the love and memories always stay with us.
