 Before learning about stress and coping mechanisms >I mostly viewed stress as something negative and unavoidable, especially during busy or emotional times. I used to rely on simple coping strategies like ignoring the stress or distracting myself with entertainment. Didn't realize how deeply stress could affect my mental and physical health. 

After learning about stress and coping>I now understand the importance of identifying stressors and using healthy coping techniques like time management, deep breathing and seeking social support. I've learned that being self-aware and emotionally intelligent helps me to respond to stress more constructively rather than react impulsively. I feel more in control and better equipped to handle challenges without becoming overwhelmed.
