Loss is the absence of something or someone significant. It can be sudden or anticipated, and it’s not limited to death it can include the loss of health, stability, or dreams.

Grief is the natural emotional response to loss. It’s not linear; it can come in waves, change over time, and look different from person to person. Grief includes emotions like sadness, anger, confusion, guilt, and even relief.

Dying is the process of approaching death, which can bring its own set of emotional and spiritual reckonings, not just for the person dying, but also for their loved ones. It can prompt reflection on meaning, legacy, and connection.
