group norms are the expectations that guide that particular group on how to behave and nurses have a certain norms that they need to follow in order to enhance nursing as a proffession. those norms are:
- Respect- nurses need to have to be respectful towards their patients regardless of their background, age or condition
- communication- communication is very important in nursing as it prevents misundestandings and ensures proper patient care
- collaboration- working together as a team to ensure that your patient receives the best care
- accountability- Being accountable and responsible for every action that you make when you provide care to your patient
