Before the presentation, my understanding of stress and coping mechanisms was limited. I mainly thought of stress as a negative feeling and believed that coping meant keeping busy to avoid overthinking the issue. But after the presentation, I gained a better understanding. I now understand that healthy coping involves using a variety of strategies such as time management, seeking support, engaging in physical activity, and practicing mindfulness. These approaches help address both the causes of stress and the emotional impact, rather than simply avoiding it.
